Dasic Marine - Gas Freeing Fans

First introduced in 1977 the Dasic Jetfan 125 soon established itself as the most efficient deep penetration or extraction gas freeing fan on the market.

Unlike products of the time the Dasic Jetfan 125 was designed to direct the air flow as a core to the tank bottom reducing the risk of vapour pockets being held within the tank. This unique method of air movement has been used successfully on vessels of up to 550K DWT tonnes, drastically reducing time spent on gas freeing operations.

Despite the superb performance characteristics the Dasic Jetfan 125 is light enough to be easily manoeuvred and positioned by one man when using the purpose built trolley. The operation to change from penetration to extraction is similarly a one man operation and can take barely 10 minutes to perform.

The Dasic Jetfan 125 is designed to operate using water as the drive medium, being the most cost effective method. We can also supply the Dasic Jetfan 125 using two alternative drive mediums, Air or Steam allowing you to decide on the most practical ventilating system for your circumstances.

Each Jetfan is supplied with a comprehensive instruction manual and ‘first-aid’ repair outfit to assist with routine maintenance. Service centres offering repair facilities and technical assistance are available in many of the world’s major ports.
