Dasic Marine - Double Nozzle Tank Washing Machines

Dasic Marine were early pioneers of producing Double Nozzle tank washing machines as opposed to the Single Nozzle approach.

Double Nozzle machines provide significant benefits including:

Both types of machine cost approximately the same to buy and install, but reduced maintenance costs and higher reliability result in lower overall lifetime costs for the Double Nozzle system.

The wash pattern of a fixed Double Nozzle machine covers the whole tank in 1/4 of a cycle. This rinse-wash is often adequate for many applications including chemical tanker pre-wash. For COW applications, bottom washing can be completed in around 20 minutes with the advantage of the whole tank having a broad clean due to wash down. In all cases the tank bottom is where most of the sediment accumulates. This is effectively impacted by a jet with every revolution of a Double Nozzle machine.
